Last Saturday I had the honor of throwing a baby shower for my wonderful cousin, Megan. My Aunt Shirley graciously opened her home and offered her help for the party. (Her house is way better for large groups!) My mom, Heidi, Brandi and Aunt Barb came early and helped us get everything ready. I'm so thankful for their help. I could not have done it by myself.
The inspiration for the decoration came from the Farm Girl bedding Megan picked out for Sofie's nursery. It is so much fun to decorate with PINK!!!
(Please forgive the funky color in the 2nd pic. The cow was really more the color of the flowers. Oh well.)
When all the ladies got there we ate some yummy snacks, including Uncle Jack's now famous Dirty Martini Dip, chatted like woman do, played silly baby shower games and opened presents.One of the special moments of the day was when Megan received this . . .
Grandma Brown and Aunt Barb made this blanket for Megan before she was born. Aunt Shirley passed it on to Megan to use with Sofie!It was a wonderful day showering Megan with love and getting excited about Sofie's arrival!
